Comfortable, renovated house in quiet location directly opposite Salamander Bay beach. Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - 2 x queen, 1 x 2 singles (2 singles can be made into a king bed if desired), 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas (both with TV/DVD), fully equipped kitchen (plus kitchenette downstairs), BBQ and full laundry.
Living area and main bedroom open onto a large balcony (with shade sail) with a NE aspect overlooking Port Stephens - allowing indoor or outdoor dining.
Stroll across the road to the beach and park (with children's playground) for a swim or walk, or just take in the waterfront.
Walks and bicycle paths abound. Minutes to all attractions (golf, fishing, surfing, diving, kayaking, sailing, parasailing, dolphin cruises, whale watching, 4x4 driving, etc.), shopping centres, restaurants, cafes and localities (Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, Soldiers Point, Boat Harbour, One Mile Beach, Anna Bay, Stockton Beach).
50m to Bus Stop, 5 minutes walk to local shops, 5 mins drive to major shopping centre and only 20 minutes drive from Newcastle Airport.
Linen not included but you can arrange with local linen hire company.
Note:
1. We have minimum stay requirements for long weekends (3 nights) and holidays (like summer - for 5 nights) but please ask.
2. The house is 2 levels. There are internal stairs (spiral staircase) and external stairs to the back deck/door. A baby gate is available for the internal stair landing if required.

Summary: We loved our 5 night stay here despite the weather being terrible. The property is in an ideal spot- quiet location, across the road from the beach and walking distance to local shops. The home itself is clean with great water views and contains everything you could possibly need for your stay. Great communication from the host too! We will definitely be back again.

Summary: Great set up for us with kids and grandparents. Its 2 levels with spiral stairs between, and a small leafy backyard. The bay is just across the road with a nice little beach at low tide, and much quieter than Nelson Bay which we liked. Beautiful sunsets and great bird watching from the deck - we saw ospreys, sea eagles parrots, cormorants, pelicans and black swans.

Summary: We hired this house for my wedding weekend. Myself and my bridesmaids to get ready before the wedding. House was perfect. Views were stunning and i was verry happy to see my friend Kookie the kookaburra come to say hello with his friend.

Summary: We had such a great time at Salamanda Bay! The pictures don't do justice to the spectacular view of the water! The house was very clean, well stocked and had plenty of space for people to sit back and relax. We also loved its proximity to the other beaches in the area, especially the snorkelling reserve at Fly Point! Elliot was a fantastic host, and we couldn't recommend his place more highly!

Summary: We really enjoy our short vacay ! The property was very clean and located in a quiet neighbourhood. The view from the balcony is amazing . House is very well devided, enough room for everyone and the ground floor area is perfectly design for kids . The only downside was we couldn’t swim at the beach across the road from the house … thus, we explored the beaches in the area. Fingal bay beach is the winner !! Thank you to Elliott and Karen for letting us stay at your property! Eva
